Position Summary:

Responsible for manufacturing products efficiently, accurately, safely and on time. Operates manufacturing equipment and in-process instrumentation to manufacture regulated products in accordance to QSRs, company policy and safety regulations. Works on assignments that are routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required. Position requires attention to detail and fine motor dexterity. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and requires direct supervision or oversight by a senior employee.  Works under immediate supervision of the BioReagents Lead Packaging Supervisor or Film Array Pouch Line Supervisor and reports to the BioFire Defense BioReagents or FilmArray Production Manager.

 

Principal Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Perform all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines of BioFire Defense Quality System.
  1. Manufactures and assembles regulated products and sub-assemblies including medical devices.
  2. Operates Production Equipment.
  3. Maintains records in compliance with regulatory requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Standard Operating Procedures.
  4. Relies on instructions and pre-established written guidelines to perform job functions.
  5. Responsible for maintaining organization and cleanliness of all designated manufacturing areas.
  6. May assist with in-process testing to assure batches meet specifications.
  7. Provide training when necessary to the new technicians in your area.
  1. Performs additional tasks as assigned by management.


Training and Education:

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.


Experience:

  • Experience in a production environment (either a cGMP manufacturer or an assembly line environment) preferred.


Skills:

  • Must have good written and oral communication skills.


Physical Requirements:

  • Be able to safely lift and maneuver up to 40 lbs.
